I recall those covers leaping off the stands when I was a kid. Wood was something else, a unique artist. I loved the Ditko/Wood combo on anything they did together. BTW, I recomend the Thunder Agents Companion book, and not because I contributed a breif bo of Paul Reinman. As I noted there, I suspect that Wood laid out some of the stories he didn't draw himself, such as the Reinman stories (the books index credits Wood layouts on some of the Ditko stories he inked, bot not the ones Ditko inked himself. Certainly a possibility). If you compare the layouts with some of Wood's drawn stories, you might see the difference.
