So at work we've started up a new trivia sort of game to pass the time. It is six degrees of Kevin Bacon, essentially, but we pick two random actors.
In order to avoid influencing the outcomes, we will have two people think of two different actors, count to three, then say them out loud at the same time.
A third person has to do the connecting.

The most laughably ridiculous ones we had today were:

*Liam Neeson and Amanda Bynes
*Judi Dench and Matthew McConaughey

I think it'd be fun to play this over IMWAN. One person could post an actor's name in spoiler tags. The next name posted (also in spoiler tags) would be the match. This would keep the second person from picking either a ridiculously hard or ridiculously easy name based on the first choice. No new round would begin until the first match is solved, and of course, no googling or IMDB to check answers or cheat.

Would anyone be interesting in playing this with me? If not, tell me to shut the fuck up.

So it's open for a third person to make the match.

Not familiar with Kurt Russell is a hanging offense. He's in the Liam Neeson, Clint Eastwood, Bela Lugosi Hall of Fame.

Dang, I should've thought of Peter Boyle. Anyway, fewer steps:

Spoiler: show
Boyle starred with with Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver...
...who starred with Samuel Jackson in Jackie Brown...
...who starred with Jeremy Irons in Die Hard: With a Vengeance.

Edit: For that matter, De Niro and Irons co-starred in The Mission.
