If there was an amazing Justice League Unlimited plotline, he probably wrote it. He wrote the All Star Superman movie that just came out this week. He created Static and most of the other Milestone characters. And he was always super-nice over e-mail. No idea how he died. Very sad. RIP.

I knew of him from his past work, but I was most impressed by his short stint on FF.
He took over after JMS turned it to crap, and he quickly righted the ship into a better direction.

He is a cool, funny and relevant part of comics and cartoon history.
