i was thinking that we needed a thread where everyone posted a link to their myspace page if they have one...for that matter, why not create an IMWAN myspace group? it could help advance the IMWAN take-over of the world...

I think somewhere I may have the world's worst myspace page. At one point, John Favreau was accepting suggestions on the Iron Man movie. But you had to do the comments on his myspace page. And for that, you had to register. I've never even visited my page if I have one.

Any myspace fans care to comment on what it's for? I'm not sure I get it. Does it result in actual or simulated friends?

I met some interesting people there, and old friend I was very happy to hear from again found me there.

Then people that I was less interested in started finding me and I deleted my page. It's a mixed bag.

One of our recent hires at work told me that Facebook is the "it" thing on the campuses now.

It's for my "grass roots" Presidential campaign. I suspect other (younger) people find it useful for other things. I have, however, re-connected w/a couple of chums from wayback. Guess that's cool, too.
