In the 5th Indian Jones movie, Indy will have long since died, but will still act in the starring role. It'll be called "Indiana Bones".
Sean Connery will play his Scottish nephew's wife.

Both Indiana Jones and his father have portrayed Russian submarine commanders.

Fact indeed.
The Hunt For Red October and K-19: The Widowmaker are two of my favorite submarine movies. I especially thought K-19 was special, as it showed quite well how *bleep*-ed up the Soviet Navy was.

It's a shame they waited so long to start making these. He just looks so damn old and now the Commies are the baddies. The 1930s era served as a more interesting backdrop for Indy's adventures. I guess they had to wait until Ford's star had fallen somewhat. Personally I think the franchise would have been fine with various actors playing the lead role a la James Bond.

I guess I never understood why the first Indiana Jones is considered to be such an unimpeachable artistic masterpiece and the fourth one was considered to be so corny in comparison. Obviously, I'm missing something.
