Only very rarely. If I'm going to spend that much time preparing supper I'll just go ahead and cook something myself, which I'll probably enjoy a lot more. I love eating or ordering pizza out when I'm with a group, but I won't bother with it when I'm by myself.

You just throw it in the oven for 20 minutes and do something else, like post on IMWAN. I never cook.

We get frozen pizza at home once a week. Is it as good as "proper" pizza? Hell, no! But it's serviceable and far, far cheaper, so that's what we do.

At least they are generous with the toppings - on the frozen ones, that is.

Especially if its served with beer late at night...

I've got several dishes I can prepare in that time or slightly longer. And only part of the time is actual ingredient preparation. Most of them produce leftovers I can eat for days afterward. I do keep frozen convenience foods like TV dinners on hand for when I'm really tired or pressed for time, but I try not to get in the habit of using them often.

I do miss having someone to cook for.

I try to avoid them but they do the job when you have few other options. DiGiorno's is fairly decent.

It's a whole different thing than fresh pizza (and, for that matter, a fresh New York/Philly slice is a whole different thing from a fresh Chicago deep dish slice), but I love me some Tombstone with the works.

There's some very good frozen pizzas on the market, so it would depend on the brand. Prefer fresh-baked, but when I was a kid, Elio's was the shit.

I prefer the Crisp Crust Totino's ones, rather than the ones that try to be real pizza. Frozen pizza really can't compete head-to-head with something from Garlic Jim's or Papa John's, but viewed as its own species, it's not bad on its own merits.

In Italy, most pizzas only come with tomato, mozarella, and ONE topping. This is the original pizza.

They've gotten better in recent years. DiGorno, Bellatoria, Connie's... I still get a craving for a Tombstone every once in a while, though.

Wish my parents had let us keep them around when we were kids. My mom was old school. She cooked most things fresh for us.

We had a Freschetta spinach and mushroom pizza last night and it was tasty.

Is that flavor white pizza? I tried a slice, for the first time a couple of years ago, and am now a fan. If you say it's good I might give it a go next time I buy frozen pizza (if that time ever comes, I should say, actually).

It is so good, but it is square and that's just not how I usually roll with my pizza.

Yeah, I'm not a square pizza guy myself.
