This is why comics aren't fun anymore.

Hey, Power Pack was a fun comic and very different... especially for Marvel at that time.

Surely they're all dead by the end of the first issue.

Superhero comics are no good unless they have gratuitous cleavage, excessive violence, a dark tone and a superhero wife getting raped by the super villain. I'm so glad comics have evolved over the years. I really missed out reading those fun adventure comic books when I was 8.

Louise Simonson always wrote characters as loud, whiny children with a limited vocabulary and complete lack of subtlety. So in many ways, "Power Pack" was a perfect fit for her. At least there's an excuse when it's kids.

One issue of Power Pack was denied the CCA seal. In that issue, 5-year-old Katie Power, AKA Energizer, accidentally kills one of the alien Snarks.

I rather liked some of the issues of "Power Pack" that I saw.

To be fair, he was the Super-Skrull equivalent of the Snarks and was pretty bad ass. And it turns out he didn't die.
I loved Power Pack. I'd kill to write it.
