So, we had a local motorcycle club chapter (Christian Motorcyclists' Association) at the library to speak to the older kids as part of the summer program. Five bikers with tatoos, bandannas, colors, the works. Only two rode their bikes, though--the others didn't bring theirs because it looked rainy. So at the last minute I ran home and got mine, which I had not intended to bring because it was dirty. I've now outed myself as a biker to the kids at the library.

I have no respect for a motorcycle gang that don't ride into the library knocking over shelves and raping hand puppets in the children's reading section. I'm just sayin'.

BTW, although the event went well there was some excitement when a bumblebee got loose among the kids while we were looking at the bikes in the parking lot. Lots of running and screaming while the bikers were trying to talk.

I had meant to take the bike home at lunchtime. But it rained before then and the bike was still sopping wet! I ended up waiting until closing time and riding home then.

My legs aren't QUITE that birdlike! That chick's also riding a much hotter bike than I've got!
