Seriously!? I had no idea he was still alive. I grew up with him and the folks thought he was hilarious. His show was a must see.

House Party is a big memory from my childhood. Before I was school age, my afternoons would start with my dad coming home for lunch, followed by House Party on the tube. (Afternoon TV was pretty casual until the Adventures of Superman started up at 3pm.)

For the past two or three years, Art was #1 on my list of people that everybody thought was dead, but wasn't.

Now that Art's dead, moving to #1 on the list is former syndicated advice columnist "Dear Abby", Abigail Van Buren, 91 years old and still alive...somewhere.
