For some strange reason...I just sat thru Batman & Robin on TBS....jeez...that was a awful awful movie.

Actually better that way..right when the pressure in my brain would get to the critical point...a commercial interuption would save my life!!

I remember reading an interesting review of the film; "Not only is it the worst of the Batman movies, it may be the worst movie of all time." Even after reading this review, I rented the video ... only to eject it after about 20 minutes.

( Wasn't this the film where the Barmobile is able to drive up a wall? )

The only Batman flick I liked was the first. The second was okay, but I couldn't figure out why the Penguin had clowns as henchmen ... I later figured that it was due to a Burton obsession.

Batman Forever ... the one with Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones ... was just awful. The villains were way out of character. Riddler inventing some kind of goofy mass-mind-control helmet? Two-Face standing around laughing insanely like some blithering idiot?

I hope the new movie does something to bring back some glory to the character on the big screen.

Although I did like the scene with Batman hanging onto the ladder from the batcopter with a shark clamped onto his leg ... he was beating on it with his fist.

Oh... and also the line "Some days, you just can't get rid of a bomb!"

I like the 3rd Batman mainly because of Jim Carrey, I like almost everything he's in. Val Kilmer was ok, also. I saw the 3rd and thought it was really awful, but then, who didn't.

I forget the actress who played Catwoman in the 2nd movie, (Michelle Pheiffer?) but I like her in that. I don't really get the Penguin character...if he had such a bad childhood why didn't he just move to Boise, Idaho and start over? Why the drama living in the sewers? That reeks of self pity and attention-seeking if you ask me.
