Bought it today. I'll read it later and let you know what I think.

Now I have read it:

Spoiler: show
At first, I was a little disappointed in it: Wonder Woman apparently moving at Flash-like
speeds seemed wrong to me, then the bathroom scene with Zatanna and Diana did what
it supposed to do, I guess: cause me to raise an eyebrow (haven't been reading much DC
in the last couple of decades, so I wasn't sure what to make of that.

Still, in the long run, once the purpose of the story was revealed, that scene made sense:
it was just thrown in like that just to get the sort of reaction out of me that it did. And, as a
prelude to Killing Joke, this issue worked well enough. I'm not sure I appreciate the idea
very much that Zatanna knew in advance, but she's magical, and I'll take her at her word
that she couldn't prevent what was going to happen, or fix it later on.

I guess I liked the story.

Haven't seen this, but I just got a collection of stories based on the animated B&B series for the library.

Bannings: fear taste?
Beachy's response pretty much matches the thoughts I was having as I read it. I like what the 2 of them were doing for the long run.
