I just got an email from Dr Pepper. They said if I dropped my contract with Pepsi that they'd give me TWO crates of broccoli yogurt every time I mention them in a thread title.

So, I'm now on board with Dr Pepper! Drink some today! It's got all the sugary nutrients that are part of a daily, well balanced diet! YUMMY!!!!

Guinness is supposed to contain a lot of nutrients. I once knew a man who'd sometimes skip dinner and just drink Guinness instead. Not that I'd recommend it, but that's what he said.

I'm a Pepper, especially Heritage Dr. Pepper.

It's bottled and distributed by Pepsi, Coca-Cola, and Dr. Pepper / Seven Up distributors pretty evenly. About a third by Pepsi, a third by Coke, and a third by other local distributors.

Here it's distributed by the local Coca-Cola bottler. In my hometown they have a Dr. Pepper distributor.

I'm glad that Francine's loyalty can't be swayed by things like money...or broccoli.

Thanks. An outfit called Northland Beverages used to distribute it in Minnesota (along with 7-Up
and RC products), but, in the last ten years, Dr. Pepper moved over to Pepsi here. Coke has always
distributed (Mr.) Pibb 'round these parts. Does your local Coke place also do Pibb then?

I knew there was a place in Texas (the original Dr. Pepper site?) that was still making Dr. Pepper
based upon the original formula—or at least with real cane sugar. Here, the Heritage Dr. Pepper
showed up at about the same time as Throwback Pepsi (on its second time around) and Throwback
Mt. Dew. I thought Dr. Pepper had gained a closer relationship with Pepsi because of that timing.

I don't think that they do Mr. Pibb. Could be the Pepsi guys. I can tell which is which by what goes on sale when. All of the Coke, Dr. Pepper, and Barq's Root Beer brands are included in the same sales, so I know they're all provided to the stores by the same distributor.

I'm pretty sure that Pibb is a Coke Brand. I haven't liked it as much after
they added some cinnamon flavoring to it: Pibb Xtra.
