Neat site.

I loved Woody's Superduperman vs. Captain Marbles, DD's new all-red costume, and the Plop #17 Lord of the Rings parody.

That is a good set of notes and images!

A favourite of mine, from waaaay back. I actually did a Fu Manchu cover for my submission packet to the Kubert school. If I have the time, I'll scan it over the weekend. Its pretty dated, however!

Here's a gallery of terrific Woodstuff.

This collection is some of the finest work ever done for comics, and this edition is excellent. Lots of research and background.
:D :D :D :D :D out of five.

I have that collection and love to read it. I also note that when it was reprinted magazine style with Kitchen Sink, that Will Eisner said he loved Wood's work, but it nearly drove him insane how slow Wally worked.

I loved reading Eisner's insights in those Kitchen SInk editions.
