I recently came up with an interesting idea for a commission that was inspired by a sketchbook Scott Williams did a few years ago. I have several pencils only pieces in my art collection, so I was thinking of getting 3 inkers, who have different styles of inking, to ink over blueline printout of one of my pencil pieces. This would show how much inkers can influence how the final page looks. Now I just have to figure out the inkers I want to propose this too and what piece I want to get inked. I've met a few inkers at various comic shows and I am trying to figure out who to talk to.

Here's the list of Inkers:
Norm Rapmund
Danny Miki
Joe Rubenstein
John Livesay
Matt "Batt" Banning

So my questions to you all:
Are there other inkers you might know and suggest?
Of the ones listed who do you think I should contact?
Which page do you think I should get inked?

Here are the pages I have that are pencils only

Winter Soldier #13 page 4, IMO. It would look amazing inked.

My vote is for the last one. Looks like it would be the easiest to ink.

Seeing you mention Joseph Rubenstein suggested to me:
Mark Farmer
Bob Layton
Jerry Ordway
Terry Austin
but I guess that list is probably obvious.
Good luck with the project.

I've decided to go with this page.

I talked to Joe Rubenstein (Old School style) and he quoted me a cost of $250. Does that sound reasonable to those of you who have worked with Joe before?

The other 2 inkers I am hoping to get to do it are Danny Miki (Modern/Image style) and Steve Lieber (Independent/Alternative style).
