Over the last weekend, Brian Talley, who many of you know from here and other places, was involved in a serious head on collision. Brian sustained injuries that he will be recovering from, although at last check he was still in the hospital.
His wonderful wife,
Judy, did not survive. Some of you might have been lucky enough to hear Brian chat about her. She had most recently been involved with putting together a cookbook that was to benefit
Orphan's Helpers. I know a number of you are friendly with Brian, or met him at MOC a couple years back.
Similar to what I've done over at another forum, I'm going to lock this thread...I really don't know when Brian might ever see it, and while I know he and his family will greatly appreciate condolences, I can't do something that might contribute to his grief, however unintentional, as he would read through replies.
Say a prayer, if you pray, or pass on your condolences in your own way.
Marc Foxx had a wonderful suggestion that anyone wishing to do something make a donation to Orphan's Helpers in Judy's name.
Appreciate who you have with you while you have them. As Brian always says: "You miss a little, you miss a lot".
