I could have seen Pixar's Up...
...but instead I went to see The Hangover.
I don't regret the choice. I'm sure I'll love Up,
but for those who like this type of movie, The
Hangover is laugh-out-loud funny.

This movie came in second place this weekend. I can't believe I'm the only IMWANker who has seen it!
You aren't. I saw it and it is hysterically funny and well done despite being a juvenile comedy. How good is it? Roger Ebert liked it and he and I almost never agree on movies. If you could take Borat, see this: it's not as offensive and funnier.

One more thing which I do not believe is a spoiler. This isn't an Agatha Christie whodunit, but when the mystery of what happened to the missing groom is finally solved, the solution is so simple and clever that you'll slap your forehead and think "Why didn't I think of that earlier---it's so obvious!" The humour may be lowbrow, but this isn't a dumb comedy, even if some of the people who flocked to see Sideways might stay away from this one.
And Mike Tyson deserves a lot of credit for being willing to poke fun at himself. He's lost a lot of money over the years, and while I'm not a fan of his, he deserves every penny he makes from this film.
Last night at dinner, John, Chris, and I were talking about what outrageousness would be on the "unrated" version. This was one of the funniest comedies in years.
