The next Ditko/Snyder publication will be MR. A, a 32-page black-and-white reprint of the 1973 book originally published by Joe Brancatelli's Comic Art Publishers. $5 cover price, ordering details over here, more news as I get it. Spread the word. The stories "Right to Kill" and "When Is A Man To Be Judged Evil" are among my favourite Mr. A stories.

IIRC, I dropped $50 + shipping to get my copy of the 1973 version after a long hunt, so I'm glad to see it is back in print. This is the one it is reprinting:

Yikes. I picked that up around 1980 for $1, I think. I think that somewhere during its run, the original
price had a higher price sticker put over the old price.

Nice to see this back in print, but still want a nice balck and white Archive. :ohyes:

Somehow I ended up with two copies, plus the reprint in Fantagraphic's Ditko Collection. I don't think I'll grab the new one.

(I think one of the copies is actually Jason Gore's from Imwan/Ice).

I wonder if they've switched to the 32 page model due to the cost to print up a quantity of the larger volumes.

Isn't Fantagraphics planning a Mr. A archive collection?

I don't think so. Ditko isn't fond of them.

Got mine today, anyone else?

Looks like a dense read! I'll probably spend more time on its 32 pages than on the 400-page LOCAS hardcover I'm reading.
