There is no middle groud. Do you love or hate his art? I really dug the Maxx way back when, and I think he has a very unique style, so I'm going with love.

I'm in the middle. It's inventive and interesting for certain projects and ugly and distracting for others.

No, no, no! You have to pick love or hate.

Love his art. The Maxx was one of a handful of comics I was able to get my then-girlfriend into, and I still have a full set of the trading cards they put out.

Big fan of Sam Keith's art. Rally enjoyed his wonky Marvel stuff, ADORED The Maxx -- it was and remains my favorite early Image series, one I re-read not too long ago -- and have liked a lot of his post-Maxx work. I think he's fantastic.

Someone post some art. I'm too lazy to do it myself.

The Maxx cartoon (I think it ran on MTV) was also pretty cool.

It was. They did a great job of it. In some box somewhere, I have the whole thing on VHS, no commercials.

I'd love a copy of that! Did it ever come out on DVD. I'd love to rewatch it.

To the best of my knowledge, all DVD versions are bootlegged; it has never gotten a legit DVD release.

But there is good news! You can watch full episodes at MTV's website:

Never read The MAXX. Liked his post-MAXX stuff he did for Wildstorm/Homage/DC, like Zero Girl and whatever that other series was. I like the way he draws girls' faces, especially the coloration.
