I'm including Maher, John Oliver, and Graham Norton since weekly shows were in the last poll. But they're really not true late night talk hosts.

Currently we're DVRing Colbert and Meyers. My wife prefers Meyers show, I prefer Colberts. She watches some Fallon as well, I watch Kimmel as well.

I love that Colbert includes a guest from politics, business, tech, or science each night. I think that once he finds his groove he'll be one of the best ever. He's a master at the adlib and the comeback.

My wife has made a Seth Meyers fan out of me. What I like about his show is that it's the only show that is still small. Letterman's early NBC shows were just that... a minimal set, a small band, no fireworks. That late at night, I don't need someone screaming at me. Since Meyers has ditched the monologue and gone back to starting "the news" from his desk, the show flows much better. He's good with guests, has a sharp mind, doesn't overdo the schmaltz. When Fred Armisen is in town it's a real treat.

It took Meyers a while to go with his strengths. Colbert went with his strong suit from the start.

Colbert.
The others have either gotten stale,I haven't seen enough to judge,or I have seen enough to judge.

Colbert and Corden did a nice little song and dance on Friday's Late Night. Corden looked like he was still in shock over getting the Late Late Show.
