Pick your all-time favourite group of artists, confining your choice to one comic book company in one era. (IOW they were all on staff at the same time.) For example, you might like Kirby/Ditko/Heck from Marvel's early 1960s. Mine would be Swan/Anderson/Kane/Infantino from DC's Silver Age.

I would likely go 60's Marvel, but just to be different--

Legend - 90's- Miller, Byrne, Allred, Mignola, Chadwick, Art Adams.

I'd take Perez out of there, considering he was the hot DC artist during that decade.

Tweaking Paulie just a bit

Marvel mid to late 80's/early 90s : Byrne, Simonson, McFarlane, Davis, Romita Jr., jim Lee

all improved the work of the trailblasers that came before them.

He had a good, large run on the Avengers in the early 80's. That's what I'm using.

Early '80s? You mean 1979-80, when he then left Marvel to do JLA and New Teen Titans?

I think that bad mayonnaise is affecting your memory, Paulie.

I thought he had done the art into '82. You're right though. But it can't be my memory, I was just mistaken. I wasn't old enough to read in '80-'81.

I don't think that Cockrum, McFarlane, and Paul Smith were on staff at the same time, one of the stipulations.

Your list is getting weaker by the minute.

Your list loses.

I'm telling you, McFarlane is the death of any list.
