I'm not sure about this one, but I'll say single. I think it opens up story possibilities. That said, DC has done an admirable job with the partnership between Lois and Clark. The marriage humanizes him a great deal and gives him vulnerability.
Hmmm... maybe I should have picked married.

I like Lois and Clark together and chose married. Like Spider-Man, it's not really a matter of married or not so much as having a significant other who is aware of the secret. I like that dynamic but think it's more important to Superman than Spider-Man, hence my opposite vote here.

I like married Superman. It seems appropriate for a wholesome, Midwestern superhero who stands for "the American way" to be married.

I voted one way, but I'm really on the fence. I sure liked the single All-Star Supes and Lois. I miss that relationship.

I dont really care.
Im not the biggest Lois Lane fan. I think she's fairly boring and there's nothing to do with her. Teri Hatcher notwithstanding
However, married or not, they will be dating so in effect, it's the same thing. It's not like they will have him be with others.
I picked married only because its the one thing that prevents this continuing descent into, IMO, the madness of making him "Great Rao" Krypton Kal again rather than the Byrne or S&S human Superman.

or we'd slide back to the boring triangle which sucks and makes Lois a super bitch who loves the super jock and despises/ignores/mistreats the nice guy right in front of her face.

I was enjoying the stories before the engagement, when finally, after all these years, Lois was dating CLARK, not knowing the secret.
His telling her was inevitable -- and not a bad piece of storytelling, either -- but I think the wedding itself was a mistake.

To this point, married also opens up story possibilities that you can't have with a single Superman. To choose based on potential stories that haven't been written is the mistake. You should choose based on the stories you have enjoyed.
