This is a link to an archive for old cereal boxes from decades ago. From the1950's to the 1970's. It's fun to see what cereal covers looked like years ago. Oh, and there's a section also for the back of old cereal boxes as well at this link.

Didn't Herr Brotoro (or someone else) do an "ET Girl" and/or "Mimickers" cereal box at one point? I seem to remember one.

It's funny how the word "sugar" has been eliminated from cereal names over the years. A bit of political/nutritional correctness, no?

Yes, he made my Broccoli Chex avatar. :ohyes:

I see "sugar" shows up a lot in the older cereals. I don't see that a lot right now, it's true. :ohno:

Sugar used to give us energy. Got us going in the morning, kept us chuggin' through the school day.

Kids were slimmer, healthier, more active.

Now everything is "Golden" and kids have diabetes.

That's so sad. Sugar isn't bad... I heard it's good for your mind and for energy as well. :ohyes:

Sugar is good. But many good things are not good if overused.

This is one of the greatest websites ever. I'd like them to bring it up through the 1980s, though.

Breakfast cereal was a HUGE part of my childhood and is still one of my favorite foods. I was a box reader. Eat a bowl, read the box. I read a LOT of cereal boxes in my day.

These days cereal is a snack for me. Two bowls of cereal is great after dinner, or as an afternoon snack.

My best friend's mom used to buy an extra box of Fruity Pebbles to keep in the cabinet because when I came over, I'd eat all their cereal. His older brother still busts my chops because 1) I ate all his food, and 2) because his mom would shop special for me, but never for him.

Well, certain types of love if you get too much of it, can be detrimental.
