Good but not great.

They attempt to animate Frazetta's art, and fail miserably. The lower thirds are distracting, the curator of the Frazetta museum comes across as a cartoon (he thinks that Frazetta is the Rhembrandt of our age).

Good insight into Frazetta. He's a braggart, exagerates his abilities (as if he needs to do that). But he's likable, and you can see why his old comics friends love him. Nice quotes from the next generation of artists.

Unfortunately I think it'll be the best Frazetta doc we'll see.

Frazetta is my favorite comic artist, so I'll have to get this.

I loved the bits about having to switch hands after his stroke.

Makes every artist that watches feel about an inch tall.

Putting a quote from Harry Knowles on the cover. A guy who got famous for gushing on the internet about anything and everything. Great way to establish credibility.

You might as well put, "My mom loved it!"

I saw the film on an indie channel a few years ago. I really enjoyed it.

Damn, thinking about ordering it.

It's a good doc. It does give you a decent sense of his life. It's basically an extended A&E style biography episode for the most part. I liked it. I wouldn't say it is worth buying though.

I spent about a total of 10 bucks on it at AmazWAN. Worth it? I adore Frazetta's work.

I saw this a few years back on IFC.

I remember enjoying it quite a bit.

That's better than the horde of crappy movies out there that go for that price or less. Frazetta is awesome.

Frazetta's awesome, and I've considered buying this DVD myself. I think I probably shall.
