One of the things I liked about the video was it kind of gave that Miss Teen USA gal a bit of redemption.

I like the song. The video's ok. It's not as good as anything Alanis Morissette can do in her sleep... but Weezer is one of the best bands today. I give it a B+.

Anybody know how they did it -- did they round up the real people for appearances, do it with make-up and lookalikes, CGI, or a combination?

They played some of their original clips (like the Afro Ninja stuff in the beginning), but for the most part, they got the real people to re-enact their 15 minutes of fame.

Man, this was SUCH an improvement over 'Make Believe', which didn't have a single song I liked on it.

Get Dangerous and Pork & Beans are awesome little jams. A couple missteps, but overall, good stuff.

Bought it, ripped it to iTunes, listened to 1 1/2 songs, haven't gotten around to listening to the rest of it yet. I liked the snippet of P&B I heard, though.

I like it, but I don't understand why they threw in a 3 Doors Down song...
And I recommend the extended 14-song version. Miss Sweeney is a good song.

I like Weezer. I haven't heard the new album yet.

It's pretty decent. Worth 10 bucks, at least.

I REALLY like Make Believe. You didn't like "This is Such a Pity", Hanzo? That's a fantastic Weezer song.

I liked This is Such a Pity, but the rest of the CD kinda blends together. For me. Hope I'm not stepping on any toes by answering a question meant for Hanzo.

The first four songs make it all worthwhile to me.

I'd go as far as to say the first six. I like "Dreaming".

Oh, I don't mean I dislike the others. I just find I tend to rewind to start from scratch after these four!

That's not very Weezer-like.

Hey, Taft, remember Billy Reid? That's the vibe I get from the new Weezer album. Very homemade, slightly amateurish....not that this is a bad thing, but the first time I heard Pork and Beans, I thought that Billy Reid had hit the big time.

I really don't care for that one in particular. The only ones I kinda like are Perfect Situation, Hold Me and The Damage in Your Heart. They still sound somewhat Weezer-esque to me while the rest fo the album sound slike some weird pop version of the Weezer.

It was different, that's for sure. Sounds a lot like The Cars.
