Adorable!

The subject line reminds me of Stanley G. Weinbaum's story "A Martian Odyssey." An astronaut tried to tell an alien "We are friends." The uncomprehending alien said "We are vrrrriends!" And since all the aliens were mind-linked, suddenly they all started saying it!

Then the astronaut bumped into an alien. After that they all said "We are vrrrriends! Ouch!"
