My whole life and understanding of the cosmos has been thrown into chaos on discovering that the moon is not made of cheese after all.Now somebody is telling me the yellow stuff used as pizza topping might have gone the same way.I'm struggling to come to terms with all of this.
When these basic certainties are challenged it does make me wonder "Is life meaningless" :o

Or in the words of Supertramp :
There are times when all the worlds asleep,
The questions run too deep
For such a simple man.

I would say that I'm sad to see Prowl's previous avatar go away... but this new one is hypnotic. A study in forced harmonic motion.

No need to feel sorry, guys, I was just having a little laugh. I'm cool with absurdity, been digging it since my teens when we read Joyce in high school.

You had to read Joyce in high school? Boy, I feel sorry for you. We got to read "Lord of the Flies!"

Not Ulysses, mind you! That one remains at the bottom of my reading pile. I read Lord of the Flies on my own back in high school and found it very powerful and compelling, a rare case where I was completely absorbed.

Ironically I had actually read it several years BEFORE it was assigned in high school. I had innocently thought it was going to be an adventure story about kids stranded on a desert island. Talk about a rude awakening!
