I likes that Spidy cover too.
Wasn't there an issue of Spider Woman that was done similarly? I seem to remember the Enforcer or someone like that on the cover on a fire escape or something ike that. Anyone remember better?

It appears to be a list made for the sake of having a list.
That Scott!!! guy with is Odd-ball covers has some much better stuff. Never enjoyed his online forum though.

Another photo cover from the same general era. Jonathan Frakes (Will Riker from STAR TREK) dressed up as Captain America for Marvel Comics-related events from time to time, but he didn't manage to make it to this particular photo shoot. That's actually painter Joe Jusko in the suit! Click here for details: http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.co ... evealed-4/

And didn't PLAYBOY centerfold Petra Verkaik pose as She-Hulk for a photo cover or two? I seem to recall the old guy across the street mentioning that at some point.

We should put together our own list of bizarre covers.
Here's one to start.

Those photo covers are pretty cool. I wish they would do more once in a while.

The majority were DC covers.
The Lederhosen thing was funny.
And I agree with many of you - I liked the realistic Spider-Man photo cover.

On that Spider-Man cover, was that the actor that played Peter in that terrible TV show? I only vaguely remember it, but I think it looks kind of like him. Wasn't the TV show out at that time? Or was it a lot earlier?
