I've gotten their "Vintage Marvel Comics" calendars for the last three years, but all of their stuff looks cool.

Use your phone? :) I haven't had a real calendar in almost 3 years now, since my phone became my lifeline to remembering everything. It's perfect for me because my calendar is always with me.

I've ordered a custom calendar using some of the Hammer Films wallpapers I've put together. Just ordered it a couple days ago so I haven't seen the finished product yet, but here's where I ordered it:

I get the one with SF pulp magazine covers every year.

I like one hanging on my wall in my office because I like the desposable art aspect of it.

That's a cool idea. I like Ludwig Hohlwein art and have never been able to find a calendar of his work.

If you have a bunch of his artwork on your computer, it's pretty easy to do. Just upload them to the site, and go from there. Although the site can be pretty damn slow. I'm trying to order one for a friend of our vacation pics, but the site's being a pain in the ass. (If you get one ordered by 12/5 and use EARLYBIRD in the coupon code, you'll get 40% off!)

but, really, I'm not going to be much help in this thread because I usually end up getting a Hello Kitty calendar every year...which doesn't exactly seem your style, Nagoo.

I've got my eyes on a calendar with Japanese paintings and haiku.

Somewhere in the house I have stashed a unicorn calendar that I had on my wall during the 1990s. Everybody has an embarrassing secret in their past. Now you know mine.

No, this was before they discovered that.

For years I worried over what calendar I was going to buy. Usually something retro like old Coca Cola advertising or movie posters. Once I had decided on a calendar there was the question of when to buy it. Right then and there, or take a chance that it would still be available after Christmas when they're half off? No such worries this year. Last week I picked up a free calendar at a local pharmacy, and unless I run across something truly great I think this is going to be my calendar for 2013. Yeah, it's got Norman Rockwell paintings and a big ad for the store at the bottom but the price was right. And it's retro.

Well I feel like I should at least link to one of Ian's, though I don't expect that's everyone's style and truly and honestly we don't get them, because I'm otherwise surrounded by his art and that is one of the few things he said I could pick whatever I wanted without him having to even like it every year, so I kind of make a point of doing something that is at least a little more my kind of thing than his.

At a Chinese restaurant I used to frequent the owners always had a fun Chinese pin-up calendar from their grocery provider (I think). I asked them one year if they could get me one from their distributor and I was told, "Not for you."

I get annoyed with all the Irish, French, and English picturesque calendars. Never once can one find a good calendar with picturesque German locations. On occasion you will find them with Neuschwanstein, but that is about it.

I think calendars with dogs have overwhelmed the market.

Daily calendars are very hit or miss. I once had a beer review a day calendar and I hated beer reviews by about March. Likewise with an old English dictionary calendar.

In my teenage years all I ever wanted were the Sports Illustrated calendars.
