...and I end up taking only two pictures:

Bernie Wrightson:

And Herb Trimpe(don't ask me how I ended up getting a shot with his eyes closed):

Now, I went for Howard Chaykin, Joe Jusko, James O'Barr and Tim Bradstreet as well. I did get stuff signed by them, I just didn't take pics. By the way Steeler fans, you'll be happy to know that Joe Jusko & Tim Bradstreet are big Steeler fans. Apparently, they were wearing their Steeler gear on Saturday, the day I couldn't go. I also got some shopping in, $4 worth. Here is my list of books a that I got for that exhorbitant amount:

E-Man #3(First Comics)
Marvel Spotlight #29 - Featuring Moon Knight
The Moth Special - 56 Pages.
Steve Ditko's 160 Page Package 1999
Conan #50
New Teen Titans(1981) - 3,6,16,18,19,20,21
Marvel Fanfare #11(George Perez Black Widow Story) & 20(Jim Starlin Thing Story)
Warlock Special Edition #1

All of these were 3 for $1.

Bernie Wrightson looks nothing like I would have imagined.

Howard Chaykin looks younger than I imagined, but he signed everything I put in front of him, even the first issue of The Scorpion by Atlas Comics.

I could have spent more, but we had to head back to Austin, so we left around 2:30 or so so we could pack up and go. I didn't get to see the whole dealers room, but I could have gone through a whole lot of 3/$1.00 boxes...

On a pleasant side note, the GF was looking at the Frankenstein plates at Wrightsons table and loved them. I have a feeling she won't mind if I pick up the Frankenstein with pictures by Wrightston now, she just loves his work.

Some of you may be wondering, "But Robert, what did you get signed?" Not really, but I'm going to tell you anyway:

Tim Bradstreet: Boba Fett 1/2, Punisher #1(White Bkgd Cover) & the CD Cover for Iron Maiden: A Matter of Life & Death.
Howard Chaykin: Star Wars Treasury #3, The Scorpion #1(Atlas Comics), Marvel Premiere #56: Dominic Fortune, Indiana Jones #6, New Avengers #21 & the Wolverine/Nick Fury Graphic Novel. I completely forgot about Blade & Hawkgirl dammit!
Joe Jusko: Tomb Raider: The Greatest Treasure of All, Vampirella: Bloodlust 1 & 2
James O'Barr: The Crow TPB
Herb Trimpe: G.I. Joe #1(Regular & Treasury sized editions), G.I. Joe Yearbook #4 & The Incredible Hulk and Wolverine one-shot.
Bernie Wrightson: Swamp Thing #8, The Shadow #3, The Weird 1-4, House of Mystery #9, Superman/Batman Annual #3, Dead She Said Hardcover(IDW) & Freakshow Hardcover(Image).

If I had been able to go both days, I'm pretty sure I would've packed at least a short box full of books to get signed.

I met Wrightson at a con in NY years ago and I agree.

Thomas Jane was there as well, but I wasn't paying for autographs on Sunday. Not to mention that he was only signing for 1-1/2 hours on Saturday and an hour on Sunday, which meant if you bought a picture for $10 to get signed and got an autograph ticket and he didn't get to you within that hour, you bought a photo for $10.
