Read issue two today and I have to say so far this book is not living up to its promise. It is a weird mixture of 70's style lets not stop to talk when we can fight type action, with some very heavily borrowed Brubaker type elements that seem to me almost stolen rather than just coming from the same new mythology. Even Sadowski's art seemed to fall short of his normally very high standard.

My new LCS was out of it when I went there on Saturday.

Im intrigued by this series..but not enough to jump in just yet...will trade wait on this.

The Bucky scene was really gross.

I bailed after issue 1. If it gets good (or decent) reviews, I'll pick up the trade.

I'm kinda digging it so far. I like that it is self contained, a nice alternative to al the mega crossovers this summer. Nice art as well...
