WTF? Is that girl at the end going to end up as his side kick? Now she really does kick-ass. How is that ending going to get explained though? So far though I am still loving this book.

Millar's been dropping hints throughout the series that Kick-Ass isn't necessarily the first or only "superhero" in the world. The girl at the end may have been active before he even got started.

I liked the ish, but I don't see it as taking place in the "real world" anymore.

I may pick this up when it's collected. The Romita Jr. artwork is going to be the main draw for me though.

I'm fascinated by this book. The art is an obvious draw, and Millar's capable scripting means it's always an easy read, if nothing else. I'm curious as to where this will go, which is always a sign that something's working.

I didn't think it was possible, but it's got me thinking this is almost plausible -- the teen superhero who goes out and picks fights with bad guys. And ends up in the hospital.

Cranky - I agree with you - no way a 10 year old girl can take down people with a sword...but even though its not the "real world" - im still digging it..!

Is she ten?

(I am enjoying this book far more than I had expected to.)

Millar said nine in one of the threads on Millarworld.

I like this book, mostly due to JR jr. I am curious to see where this all goes, but am not blown away yet.

I agree with Hanzo. I'm still not entirely sold on it, but every issue makes me want to see what's going to happen next.

I love the art on this book. But I can't buy it. My kids will read it and I don't feel like having to hide comcs from them. :sigh:
