I think those are UK charts they're pulling that info from...
"Please Please Me" wasn't released in the US until 1987 when they standardized the Beatles catalogue to conform to the UK releases only.

Agreeance with Frank on the UK chart thing - They have the #1 song on my birth date as See My Baby Jive by Wizzard. Great tune, but not a hit in the US.
