After reading Superman/Batman #19, it occurred to me that the best approach DC could take over the course of the next year isn't another Crisis series, but something much simpler ~ Clayface Comics Weekly.
Have Clayface impersonate an earlier iteration of a DC superhero in every issue. He obviously is better at portraying those characters correctly than the actual characters themselves, nowadays. One week he could have an adventure as the Ted Kord Blue Beetle, then in the next issue he could be the Dick Grayson Robin, and then the Silver Age Superman, and so on. The oversaturated messes currently being published could continue without any changes.
Everyone would be happy. Readers of all tastes would be satisfied. And all those nice people who can't write comics properly could keep their jobs!
Think about it, Mr DiDio. It would solve all your problems.
