Ordered this from AmazWAN's Friday Sale:

It's basically a lined blanket in the shape of a coat, which I will need to wear around the house all the time once the outside temperature goes below 60 degrees. I don't know how you polar bears can stand it!

That's misleading.

It's clearly a lined coat in the shape of a blanket.

Looks comfy!

I'll probably have to get out my robe soon. It's getting chilly, and I want to avoid steep gas bills. I just turned on the heater for the first time last night.

Hate to tell you this Red, but that won't be of much help. Most body heat escapes through the feet, hands and head. You'd better off buying some extra-thick socks, mittens and a nice wool cap. :ohyes:

God that looks so warm.

It's starting to turn cold here.........not bad, but in a month it will probably dip into the 20's -30's......... and we don't use the heater to any real extent.....
man....... I'm tempted.....

Linda,

Does the girl pictured in the ad come with it as well? I didn't know you could buy such things over the internets. :o

It's a scale model, Chris, and YES you may order her along with the sleeping bag.
Real women are about 15 times that size, though.

I just bought a new sleeping bag. For use in the great outdoors, not at home. At home when I'm on the couch on a cold evening I wrap up in a nice crocheted afghan someone made for me.
