Reading my first Golden Age comic, I'm struck by how cool it is. Lots of pages, dirty cheap cover price and several stories in various genres. It's awesome....

It's like reading an issue of Shonen Jump only 60 years earlier, in color and by Americans.

I've heard of 'em, but I've never actually seen one.

I used to have most of the Captain Canuck run, though .... did you yanks get that?

Northguard was great.... first of the "realistic" super-heroes, iirc... pre-dated Miracleman in my reading timeline, anyway....
