Fortunately or unfortunately, it's only for 2 issues that Geoff Johns is not writing (Gail Simone will be sitting in).

See? Rob doesn't draw feet! One of Superboy's is behind Wonder Girl's hair, and one of Kid Flash's is behind Cyborg's foot! Rob avoids drawing feet wherever he can!!

"Oh, Dear" indeed. Still, this picture looks better than what I was imagining when I first heard the news.

To qualify, "better" is a relative term. The pic is actually pretty good for a Liefeld. Nice upper half of Cyborg... but the lower half?

That's awful. Such a wonderful follow-up to McKone's work...

Why does this guy keep getting work?

Brian pointed this out in another forum, and it's weird ... check out this other Titans artwork by Liefeld, all the characters are looking at some off-camera foe except Robin, who appears to be readying to battle Kid Flash. Bizarre arrangement of figures.

Interesting observation. They are not all looking at the same place either.

Maybe Robin is coming to kick the reader's butt!

Why does Cyborg have the little saddle bags around his waist?

Not to mention that the foot count in that picture is 1.25(I'm counting the heel of that one foot, the rest are covered by smoke or people). As for the saddle bags, for some odd reason Liefield must feel the need to draw them on all the male figures he does, I'll have to go back and look at the 2 issues of Wolverine he drew a few years back to check though(If I'm lucky I won't have to though).

Yeah, Robin does look kinda like he is upset at Kid Flash for breaking his camera tripod or something..

What hath the "Books Must Come Out On Time" beast wrought, eh? Dunno about y'all, but I would have been happy for Teen Titans to take a couple of months off until Geoff & company came back. These fill-ins seem just a little ... fill-in-ish.

Now THAT'S bad. I'd love to see Cyborg in full shot (without Kid Flash in front of him) so I could see how his body works. That left leg is huge and appears to come out of his crotch. Er, that IS a leg right?

When did Robin become double jointed? That first pic makes him look like The Toad. Could somebody tell Rob that he needs to go grow roses for the rest of the decade?

(At first glance I thought Diddy said "belch". Bad art = upset stomach.)

There's something funny about the best-drawn figure on that page. I know I've seen that Starfire somewhere else. Looks like a swipe of a Bryan Hitch shot, but I just can't place it.

Followup: Okay, now that I've logged in, and I see the second shot, I'm absolutely sure this guy is still swiping. Kid Flash in the second shot REEKS of swipage. Robin looks like he was lifted right out of Jim Lee's "Hush" storyline. I like the old-fashioned "R" insignia, though.

Geez, look at that. Superboy's facial expression....Wonder Girl's Face...the only thing that looks like a Liefeld original is Cyborg.

It's patently obvious to me that when doing these drawings Rob hadn't looked at a picture of the new Robin costume. He drew the old one (complete with his version of pixie boots and old style collar) and then colored it to look like the current costume. If one is going to draw a book, shouldn't one know what the characters actually look like, hm?

Not to mention that everyone in the two different shots looks constipated(but then again, anyone Liefeld draws looks constipated).

I've heard that Rob Liefeld is a great guy, but I just can't stand his artwork. I liked the HAWK & DOVE miniseries that he drew so long ago, but in retrospect, that was probably due to Karl Kesel's inks.

He proposed to his wife in a comic book, though, so he can't be all bad!
