To anyone who might be "in the know."

On the cover of DC COUNTDOWN, Wonder Woman is shown (1) without the blindfold she's currently wearing, (2) with a drastically different haircut than she currently has, and (3) wearing a star-spangled skirt rather than panty-shorts.

Just read the DC self-promo page in BLOOD OF THE DEMON regarding the return of Donna Troy and it's connection to INFINITE CRISIS.

Anyone else suspect (or know) whether the return of Donna Troy will involve her becoming Wonder Woman in Diana's place now that she's blinded herself?

Surely the Countdown cover wasn't just a big screw-up by Lee and Ross.

Who knows? Lee and Ross don't hold themselves down with such triva.

It is suspected that in the next few months Diana gets her eyes back. As for Skirt vs Shorts... I wouldn't mind her in a Grecian style skirt over her action shorts, it's better than the candy-floss thong they strapped on her for awhile.

I dunno.

Considering how much thought went into the design of the cover so that it revealed BB yet didn't at the same time? I don't think the choice of a dramatic redesign of WW's look would just be trivia.

As to the second comment. That's what I thought as well, until I read the thing about Donna Troy and how it's somehow tied into INFINITE CRISIS -- which sparked my question.

Right now, question still open I guess.

I don't know what the plan for Wonder Woman is, but I doubt that there are plans for Donna to replace her. The solicitation copy for the Donna Troy miniseries indicates that her destiny lies in outer space.

"...It will take the combined might of the Outsiders and the Teen Titans to solve this cosmic mystery and reveal Troia's true destiny to her: a cosmic hero destined to unite legions against a threat to the entire universe!"

Then WHAT'S GOING ON WITH WONDER WOMAN'S COSTUME????/??
