SUNDAY
1. Life is Wild (CW) - Family show about a [gasp] family relocating from NYC to South Africa.
2. Viva Laughlin (CBS) - Musical drama set in a casino featuring guest appearances by Hugh Jackman, who is also exec producer.

MONDAY
1. Chuck (NBC) - Comedy about a computer nerd who becomes a reluctant spy when all of America's secret intelligence is downloaded into his brain.
2. Samantha Who? (ABC) - Comedy starring Christina Appelgate as a bitch who gets amnesia then tries to right all her old wrongs. Sounds like a "My Name is Earl" knockoff of sorts.
3. Aliens in America (CW) - Comedy about a Pakistani Muslim attending high school in Wisconsin as an exchange student.
4. The Big Bang Theory (CBS) - This is the comedy that CBS has been relentlessly plugging all summer. Stars Johnny Galecki & Jim Parsons as 2 geeks who have a hot girl move into their dorm, played by Kaley Cuoco.
5. Journeyman (NBC) - Drama about a musician who keeps getting transported to the past where he meets the woman he was engaged to that died under mysterious circumstances.
6. K-Ville (Fox) - Police drama set in post-Katrina New Orleans.

TUESDAY
1. Reaper (CW) - Comedy where the Devil recruits a slacker to help recapture souls that have escaped from hell.
2. Cavemen (ABC) - The Geico caveman get a sitcom. Would be surprised if this lasts very long, but on the other hand, ALF did.
3. Carpoolers (ABC) - Comedy about 4 friends commuting to work. Stars Jerry O'Connell.
4. Cane (CBS) - Jimmy Smitts stars in a Dallas-type drama centering on a Cuban-American family in the sugar & rum business.

WEDNESDAY
1. Private Practice (ABC) - Grey's Anatomy spinoff starring Kate Walsh with TV regulars Tim Daly (Wings), Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy), and Taye Diggs.
2. Back to You (Fox) - One of the season's most anticipated comedies starring Kelsey Grammar and Patricia Heaton as divorced news anchors.
3. Pushing Dasies (ABC) - Another "I see dead people" drama. Detective has the power to bring people back to life by touching them, and then re-deading them by touching them again.
4. Kid Nation (CBS) - Endlessly plugged reality show where a group of kids goes to a ghost town in New Mexico with the challenge of creating a functioning society.
5. Kitchen Nightmares (Fox) - Hell's Kitchen chef starts another reality show where he tries to whip failing restaurants into shape.
6. Gossip Girl (CW) – New teen soap taking place among the Upper East Side set in Manhattan by OC creator Josh Schwartz.
7. Dirty Sexy Money (ABC) – Another rich New Yorkers soap starring Peter Krause as the lawyer for the nutty Darling family.
8. Life (NBC) – Quirky drama about a wrongfully imprisoned cop being set free and, along with his cellmate buddy, tries to find out who set him up while going through life with a new Zen-like attitude.
9. Bionic Woman (NBC) – About 30 years after NBC canceled the original Bionic Woman, they’re trying it again in this new reimagined version starring British actress Michelle Ryan, who was fitted with bionic teeth to make her suitable for American audiences.

THURSDAY
1. Big Shots (ABC) – Nine new shows on Wednesday, and only this one on Thursday. You may have heard about this one as the male version of Sex & the City. It stars Dylan McDermott and Michael Vartan (Alias) along with Joshua Malina and Christopher Titus.

FRIDAY
1. Next Great American Band (Fox) - New self-explanatory reality show from American Idol creator, Simon Fuller.
2. Nashville (Fox) – Another music reality show, but done in the docudrama style of MTV’s “Making the Band,” which follows musicians trying to break into country music.
3. Moonlight (CBS) – Vampire private eye. Essentially a 30-something “Angel.”
4. Women’s Murder Club (ABC) – Sex & the City meets Law & Order as 4 galfriends help each other solve the crime of the week.

SATURDAY
nada

Damn! Every show, just about, is tailored to me.

Too bad 90% of them will get cancelled before they get off the ground. Which is, to me, the most frustrating thing about new fall seasons.

What I saw of K-Ville was bland and predictable.

None of them interest me except that Bionic Woman one. The preview I saw looked good. Maybe K-Ville, because I love New Orleans, but the name is unfortunate.
For now, US TV shows:
House
Lost
Heroes
24

BBC:
Spooks
Hustle

Amazing Race (not to spring).
Apprentice(not to spring).

There;s other shows I'll watch when they are on

with wife-dancing with the stars, and usually 48 Hours Mystery if we are home, and CSI.

It was ok. Sometimes powerful, sometimes trying too hard to be. Mostly predictable.

These seem interesting to me, although no way I'll watch them all.

3. Aliens in America (CW) - Comedy about a Pakistani Muslim attending high school in Wisconsin as an exchange student.
5. Journeyman (NBC) - Drama about a musician who keeps getting transported to the past where he meets the woman he was engaged to that died under mysterious circumstances.

From Wiki:

an abbreviation of Katrinaville

Lisco, a former lawyer who has previously written scripts for The District and NYPD Blue, did several ride-alongs with the New Orleans Police Department before writing a script for the pilot. It was during one such ride-along that he spotted some graffiti sporting the shorthand for "Katrinaville" that became the show's title.

I need to clarify I guess..."unfortunate" in this case meaning "I think it's dumb". :)

The only current "Must see" show for me is Heroes. So I will most likely wathc the two new shows on NBC on Monday.

The others listed below look interesting, but I will probably wait to see if they stick, before I really watch them. I hate watching new shows that are subsequently cancelled.

There are lots of good spots to see them, outside their regular times too, which helps me a great deal.

What I might do is Tivo the first few episodes of several shows and then Tivo Server them to my computer. If it looks like the show will be cancelled, I'll delete 'em unwatched. If the ratings are good, I'll watch them.

I highly recommend Chuck and Reaper. Very good, funny shows. Twin Peakers will enjoy Ray Wise in "Reaper", playing The Devil.

I've seen a few of these, and of the new ones, I will say stay away from The Big Bang Theory and Pushing Daisies.

TBBT is a standard sitcom, just absolutely filled with nerd and geek hate. That's not necessarily bad, but if you're going to do it, at least make it funny. This isn't.

The Pushing Daisies pilot was directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and he exec produces and it really shows. Waaaaay to quirky to be appealing. The premise is clever, but severely limited (The main character and the love interest would not be able to touch, or she dies). The narration is just annoying and repeats things you are watching. Avoid.

I'll have the DVR set to record these shows, but I don't know how much I'll get to watch.

MONDAY
1. Chuck (NBC)
5. Journeyman (NBC) - I'm a sucker for time travel shows. This is like Quantum Leap without the sci-fi aspects. He moves through time in a more mystical way, if that makes any sense. His ex-girlfriend is teh hawtness.

TUESDAY
1. Reaper (CW)
2. Cavemen (ABC) - This was much better than it had any right to be.

WEDNESDAY
2. Back to You (Fox) - Hoping this is more Frasier than the commercials make it look.
8. Life (NBC) - Nifty. A police procedural, but with an overarching mythology. It's basically "What if Dr. House was crazy, and became a cop?"
9. Bionic Woman (NBC) - The pilot was dark with a capital D. I'm hoping it's not always like that.

Not one of those new shows interests me.

I'll be watching LOST, THE OFFICE, and probably NIP/TUCK (if it ever comes back on the effin' air). I'll catch CSI in reruns next year.

That's about it.
