Okay, so far--

Cap has beaten Iron Man, Spidey took out the Batman, Union Jack beat out Capt. Britain, Space Ghost beat Nexus, and Green Lantern has taken out the Flash.

This was a tough one for me. They both have similar masks and I like them both almost equally. But I went with Wolverine's brown duds because he doesn't wear them much anymore and he's one of the few superheroes who pulls off brown very well.

I agee with Darrin on liking the brown and orange Wolverine costume.

Hawkeye's is okay, but I've never been that in love with it.

I did like when Busiek/Pacheco had him in his old Goliath outfit, but using a bow and arrow in Avengers Forever though.

Gotta go with Wolvie's Brown duds, actually the current one in Astonishing is not bad either, as long as he never wears the Fang costume again or the Patch outfit for that matter.

Any Wolvie costume other than the brown and orange one, and I'd have voted for Cockeye.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Fang costume sort of morph into the brown/tan one? Creatively speaking?

I can't vote. The only reason I like either costume at all is because I like the characters. Aesthetically, I think both look pretty bad.

I voted for Hawkeyes because Wolvie is too popular and I am a crabby bastard

Wolverine (brown)

I HATE those Dame Edna style eyepiece things these characters both have on their masks.

I can't vote in this one - I dislike both equally.

I'm going for Hawkeye, better character, better costume.

I don't think those particular versions of their masks pictured in this thread resemble Dame Edna's glasses. However, the original Wolverine mask and the smaller eyepiece that Hawkeye occasionally wears (due to how an artist wants to draw them) do resemble Dame Edna's eyewear. Basically, they were horn-rimmed eyepieces. As costumes evolved out of the 60's the eye pieces seemed to get bigger (and better, imo).

On Krypton, both these fellows would have been considered fashionably dressed, and rather dashing. The fellow in brown is rather drab looking, though.
