Nope, I'm not talking about the Canceled Comics Cavalcade issues of the
Secret Society of Super Villains

A (possibly) little known fact is that DC produced an entire first issue of
Secret Society of Super Villains that was scrubbed because they decided
to go in a different direction. (The story wasn't that great, but to some
people, none of the SSoSV were great.)

I'm not sure, but the number of pages they list being in the Showcase presents is more than the actual series had, even when you count specials and the Super-Team Family issues. They may include the three Justice League of America issues, but I think that would still leave room for the two canceled Comics Cavalcade issues.

I hadn't thought of that. I am missing a few here and there...

Speaking of, you'd think there would be sufficient fan interest after all these years that DC could actually publish those Comics Cavalcade books. Why do you suppose they have never done so?
