In Deep Blue sea, Sam Jackson is set up as the hero, and then halfway in..this scene. Totally unespected.

Yeah, that scene cracked me up. Figured Samuel L. to be in it for the long haul. Him becoming a Royale w/Cheese was funny.

I'll go for the super easy one: Darth Maul, Obi Wan and Qui Gon's lightsaber duel in The Phantom Menace. Utterly KILLER.

Not since Stephen Seagal was sucked out of an airplane in Executive Decision has there been such an unexpected screen death....

My grandpa was pissed when Segal died. He liked his movies, and felt he had been falsely advertized too.

From the Matrix Reloaded, begin when Neo and company try to escape the Merovingian's castle, and stop when the two 18 wheelers collide.

All the musical numbers in Xanadu.
Hell, for that matter: All the musical numbers in Magical Mystery Tour.

Rob Roy (yes I realise a lot of people probably liked this movie....I don't feel it was bad...just bland)but every scene with Tim Roth was gold.Too bad he can't play this character in another film.

I love this topic. And Lomm and Frax -- great answers!
I will go with the testing/training sequence in ARMAGEDDON. Five hilarious minutes wrapped inside two-plus hours of craptacular idiocy.

I'm guessing that's a sports-related (as opposed to an ARMAGEDDON-related) joke, since I don't get it.

It's a Back To The Future, Part II reference.

The origin sequence from GHOST RIDER. Hit stop and snap the DVD in half the instant Nick Cage appears.

Especially since Florida turned out to be an NL team, too.

I have a feeling I'm alone on this, but I did kind of enjoy the scene in STAR TREK V: THE REALLY SHITTY ONE in which Sybok uses his "face your pain" whammy on McCoy and Spock -- and fails to get Kirk even to agree to begin the process. Dee Kelley was great in that.

'Fled', starring Laurence Fishburne and Stephen Baldwin is rubbish. However, I love the scene that features 2 young black lads in a strip club, looking trainee-gangster:
Lad 1 (enthusiastic and excited): This. Place. Is. The SHIT!
Lad 2 (dismissive, pissed off): This place is bullshit
Don't know why, but I laughed at that for about 10 minutes.
Or 'Turbulence', Ray Liotta shouts at Lauren Holly, telling her to open the cockpit door:
Holly (scared): Why didn't you tell me the co-pilot was dead?
Liotta (coked out, overactingly shocked): Errrrr..... HE DIED!"
