I backed up some info from my old imac a while back, using the multiple session option.
I could put the CD in the drive, and the different sessions would come up seperately on the desktop.
I'm trying to transfer some of that data to the new machine (Windows) and it is only reading one of the sessions, instead of the 2 or 3 on the disc.

I can examine the disc with Nero, and it tells me that there are multiple sessions on there, but I can't get to the data.

Short of reburning the disc, and a bunch of others, as one session, on the mac, and transfering them that way, is there another way to get to that data, and put it on the new computer?

Hugh, is your Windows machine updated to SP2? XPSP2 and Vista have an updated file called "udfs.sys" which usually solves the problem of Windows recognising all the data on multisession-recorded media.

Yeah XPSP2.
so how do i get it to work?

(I miss the Mac days where all I had to do was put in a disc, press a button, click the mouse, say "activate" and the computer would do it all!)

It should "just work", Hugh. However, I have seen this problem occur before though, with the only way to read them being to try them in the same computer they were burned on.
