.....and if not for the fact that it was notoriously late, it was an exciting and action packed book. It's a shame that Maduria couldn't keep the book going, it was definitely building up to a big battle but he couldn't(or wouldn't) get it done on time. The first issue came out in 1998, and the 9th issue in September of 2001(3 issues came out in 2001, the first in January). This was after a 2 year wait between issues 6 & 7 and he and Wildstorm were supposedly going to keep publishing it, I wonder what happened that made this not happen?

I got the TPB as a Christmas gift to a friend (gee, probably 2001).
After reading it he said "Hey, this was really good. Are there any more books?"
I replied "Well, don't hold our breath"

I believe the answer to your question is "XBox".

The lateness did make it cheap enough to collect...

And, yeah, Red Monika totally squeaked when she walked.

Red Monika was ludicrous and the cover with her back-on and showing her butt was ridiculous.

But the series was fun! I got the trade dirt cheap a couple of years back and really enjoyed it.
