OK - anyone able to explain to me - what the hell happened in the end?

The Keith Giffen one with General Rock and Major Disaster? I dropped that one like a hot potato after three or four issues. Made zero sense. I was a huge fan of the Ostrander SS title, so I was really looking forward to another spin. Alas, 'twas ca-ca.

I can't say for sure, but that was my initial reaction to the ending of the last issue. After all, The other theory I've read is that Rock was actually , which is also a pretty cool idea.

Either of those possibilities are kinda neat, but I would prefer the second one for the Suicide Squad. I couldn't stick with that series to the end either. The Ostrander series is one of my top 5 series, and Vol. 2 just fell so far short of the mark that it was painful.

I love the second possibility. Ostrander's SS was my first exposure to that character, and I found him quite interesting even without knowing his backstory with Batman and so forth.

Im eager for the new Ostrander Squad mini...out this month or next month i think...should be fun!!
