That's even more entertaining than that Neil Simon song about fifty ways to use bacon. Nice work, El Presidente!

I rarely eat bacon. Even though I like it, when it's prepared properly.

Does this make me less of a man?

No, not at all.

If you didn't want to eat bacon at all, that would make you less of a man. :ohyes:

Geez, I love that avatar, Frank!

Nothing too trivial when it comes to the Fab Four - Ringo Starr says he likes a good bacon sandwich. BLT is my favorite sandwich.

OMG I just googled it.

That's hilarious!!!!!!!!!!

That's not an Australian food, at all.

And Gold Coast shrimps? Errr no. I live within the hour from the Gold Coast, so I'm there quite a bit, and yeah, not known for its 'shrimp' like that. By the way, we'd call them prawns.

This menu is fantastic!

I think they just riff on the atmosphere and slang without any actual real intent to give us Aussie food. If not, they're hardly unique in their epic failure. :)

And of course there's the ever-popular BLT. I'm planning to make that for myself tonight, as a matter of fact. Otherwise I don't eat it too much any more.

I do not like crispy bacon. I prefer my bacon soft and fatty.

I'll eat bacon however it comes. Depends on the day. soft and fatty style is best in a BLT, though.

In this we are alike. And the thicker the cut the better.

That's gross. I gotta have it at least semi-crispy.
A buddy of mine would nuke it in the micowave and eat it, made me gag watching him eat it.

If you microwave bacon correctly, it's really good. Nice and crispy, and without shrinking up as much as skillet frying.

I like chewy bacon with just a smidge of crunch.

(Side note: never, ever order anything with bacon on it from Jimmy John's. That stuff is just unpalatable. I'm told it's real, but they do something to it that makes it taste fake.)

A nice touch to cooking bacon is to sprinkle sugar on it as it fries. You just have to watch it as the sugar caramelizes, it will burn if not watched closely. It add a nice taste to the bacon. Mmmmmmmmmmm........
