Saturn Girl, Phantom Girl (or is she Apparition?), Bouncing Boy, Lightning Lad (or is he Livewire?), Superboy and Timber Wolf.
I can deal with this art style if they have some good futuristic backgrounds...
Lookin good so far!

Nah, because Cartoon Network will eventually phase it out with shit like Bobobo bobo bobo. I mean jeezus! I like anime, but WTF?!?!?!? They ditched JLU for crap like that?!?!? How long would it last in that atmosphere?

Pretty much what I was thinking. I'm not sure this is how I would have liked it to look, but I will look anyway!
Long Live the Legion!

I’m also not crazy about the art. But if the stories are good, I’m in.

If it's good, I'm all over it -- the Legion is a great premise for a series, I think. Everything I've read suggests that's a pretty preliminary art example, by the way, so sounds like it's too early to get turned on or off by any single pic.
Somebody's running a really nice Legion animated blog at http://adventure247.blogspot.com/ , incidentally. S/he's catching all the developments, so I've been checking in often.
(I just have my fingers crossed it's JLU or Teen Titans-like, which I think equals aiming high, and not Batman Strikes or JL-like, which I think equals aiming low...)
Edit: Oops, make that "The Batman". I don't even know what I'm talking about.

I am more excited about the show than I am about the art I posted above.
I'm assuming we'll have more than 6 Legionaires.

It's gonna be on the CW, not Cartoon Network, it might just be safe.

Great, which means I won't be able to watch it anyway! Seriously, I LIKE the idea of a LSH cartoon. I just know how CN treats what I consider "good" cartoons. Ah well.......

Why not, no CW in your area? If you have either UPN or WB, you'll have CW, you must have at least one of those.

I believe it CBS/WB (don't know why CBS, don't feel like Googling it).

Viacom owned Paramount (UPN) and CBS, then spun the TV business off into CBS, Inc., which owns, CBS, UPN, MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, etc.

We’ll still catch ‘Charmed’ every blue moon, but other than that I can’t think of anything we watch on either network.

Man, I'm like, parked on those networks. Gilmore Girls, Veronica Mars, Everwood, One Tree Hill....
It was worse when Buffy, Angel, Enterprise, Jake 2.0 and Dawson's Creek were on.
