Wow! Lemme see if I got everything straight.....Martha Kent leaves Smallville for Washington, Lana leaves Lex, Clark finally tells Lana his secret, the Martian Manhunter reveals his connection with Jor-El to Clark, Chloe's powers kick in, saving Lois' life in the process, but perhaps costing Chloe hers, Lana apparently dies from a bomb in her car, Lex is arrested for her murder, and the last Phantom Zone escapee uses some of Clark's DNA to transform itself into a "bizarre" duplicate of him. Finally, Lois, Lionel, and a dying(or dead!...) Chloe are trapped under the dam, which has burst and is about to flood, while Clark is battling "himself."

But as much fun as it was to watch this episode, it was even more fun watching my daughter freak out at every new shock as it happened. :yay:

I suspect I liked this more because I never had any idea what Bizarro's comic book origin was. I bet Jerry Sienfield liked this episode.

I'm guessing a set-up on the Lana bit, the passing delivery truck was just too easy, and I'm pretty sure WB isn't allowed to kill certain characters(Clark, Lois, Lana, Lex, Jimmy), but the others are cannon fodder(Chloe, Lionel). I had to watch it tonight since I changed the channel early for Supernatural and saw the last second transformation.

I just want to know one thing, when will Clark realize that he can FLY! I mean the only time he does is when he's changed by Red Kryptonite or some of his DNA is used to make a clone of him.

I like the Smallville Bizarro better than the All-Star one.

At the end of the final episode. The producers have said since day one that Clark would never fly on the show. They've snuck around that by having him go by "Kal" when he was infected with Red Kryptonite and flying.

At the end of the series I assume he will be Superman and flying will be the last of his powers he figures out.

Yeah, there was no body (Lana) and with the weird things that happen in Smallville, I wouldn't write her off just yet. Wasn't Chloe blown up in an explosion a few years ago, missing for a few episodes and then returned, having miraculously escaped before the blast?

Until I see next season's opening credits - not to mention the actual episode - I'm not placing bets on anyone dying. Besides, Chloe is my favorite character. She's not whiny, she's a good foil for Clark and she's feisty.

I have always wanted to see a Clark/Chloe romance, but with Lana and Lois, ol' Clarkie has his hands full. We did get a glimpse of Clark and Chloe together in the dream episode "It's A Wonderful Lex" and they were great together.

It should be interesting to see what happens next season, as it's Michael Rosenbaum's (Lex Luthor) last.

A very good finale to an uneven (in my opinion) season.

Lana's not dead. It is very identical to Chloe's death. They put Chloe and her dad in witness protection and faked the explosion. Same thing for Lana this time. Notice the truck that passed by and blocked Lana from Lionel's view right before the explosion.

With the whole "murder investigation" with Lex's arrest a convienient smokescreen. Yeah, if Lana had died, we would have seen her body flop out of the car, like it did in season five when she actually did die.

Of course, Clark relied on that old standby of turning back time. I guess it's not okay to interfere in human events, but when your piece-of-ass is taken away, it's a different story.
