For a second there it was going to be Jack Kirby versus George Perez. It didn't seem right at this stage though.

Joe Kubert for me. His Hawkman stuff is breathtaking. Not to mention everyhting else the guy has done.
As beautiful as Perez's stuff is, Kubert wins my vote.

Kubert is probably better, but my heart says Perez.
I vote Perez. Mainly because i don't judge by the pictures posted above. I don't like the inks on the Avengers run he did with Busiek.

This is an absolutely impossible choice. I will feel like a heel no matter how I vote because both these guys are my favorites. I voted for GP, but I'm already having doubts....

Both are great, but I went with Kubert. I really like his Sgt. Rock work, especially the The Prophecy that came out last year.

Yes, judging only by the pictures above, it would be Kubert.
But happily Perez gave us too his New Teen titans run and his work on the FF.
I'm more a fan of earlier Perez, today his art is.... too perfect.
Yet i love it on The Brave & The Bold.

I think that Perez would be as dumbfounded as I to see so many vote for him over Kubert.
Besides his superhero and fantasy work, the man carried DC's line of war titles for decades.
