I think Zaki said it best on his podcast last week: Dom Toretto is a movie star. Vin Diesel not so much.

Saw a trailer for this a few weeks ago in the theater. Pretty cringe-worthy. Probably gonna make Fantastic Four look like a hit.

Vin Diesel worked at the record store Sounds on St. Mark's Place in NYC. I remember him from when I shopped there in the 80s.

but I worked around the corner at the comic shop(s) have we met before Jimbo?

Even with Sir Michael Caine clearly walking through it on autopilot ("and so it begins"), and Elijah Wood playing Sam to Vin Diesel's Frodo....I'd still watch this.
