I guess I have the volume 2 Doctor Strange Omnibus on order for early in 2022. I'm looking forward to seeing that. It has a few issues between the Ditko run and when I started buying the issues new off the shelves that I don't have. I think that was scheduled to come out next week, but who knows with the various shipping delays.
I was also going to get the Batgirl of Burnside Omnibus, which was pushed back a couple of months to January, but I've decided to take a chance with that one and don't expect it to sell too well. I've gotten some pretty good discounts lately on overstock HC books, 65% off on some.

Inferior Five by Keith Giffen Collects a miniseries that was initially solicited at 10 issues, I think. After the first couple issues, DC announced it would be cut short to six issues due to poor sales. After the fourth issue, it suddenly disappeared. This is supposed to collect the entire 6 issues, so we'd have the (truncated) story. Unfortunately it was originally announced as coming out in March of this year, but Amazon.com now shows it coming January 2, 2079! And 2080 on Amazon Canada. Squeak the Mouse Feb. 8. This is an Italian comic from the late '70s/early '80s that was published in North America by NBM. From what I understand, it's similar to Itchy and Scratchy from the Simpsons, but back then it was banned in Canada due to excessive violence. I have been trying to read this for over 30 years, and now the time (I hope) has come. I know I'll be disappointed, but I have to do it to to spite the censors at Customs Canada who used to keep the stuff I tried to import for my store back then. I am going to stop pre-ordering Marvel books from DCBS until they have resolved their issues with PRH.
I'm about done with buying big HC collections, especially from ToW/DCBS/IST. I made a couple of orders to OrganicPricedBooks last year and have been quite pleased with the site and the service. They're nowhere near as cheap as the 50%+ off salad days of ToW/DCBS/IST, but I've gotten what I wanted when they said I would be getting it.
I occasionally look at DCBS now after the fact and order from their 65% off overstock. It's a good price and I know they have it. Got my copy of What If? vol 1 that way. I'm waiting to see if I can get Batgirl of Burnside like that and probably the upcoming copy of Invaders. It helps that I don't care which cover I get. And, if I miss out on the book completely, I won't really miss it.
I was reading some threads on the Marvel Masterworks board yesterday, and a lot of people are ready to throw up their hands with them and Marvel stuff. I currently have 12 Masterworks HC's pre-ordered from them, and 2 are being released tomorrow, but they are never added to my next shipment.
I honestly wonder if PRH and Disney/Marvel are squeezing them because of their relationship with DC.
Yes. DC did this. It was all over YouTube yesterday and people had the same reaction as Wendy. This is a real shame and says a lot about current comics and the creators. The story is written by John Ridley, Oscar winner for writing 12 Years a Slave.

I guess I bought Dark Knight Returns three times. The original issues. All but one issue of the original issues in Swedish, and one hard back collection. That was enough. I nearly bought the animated movie, but watching on TV once was enough.
How many times can I buy Dark Knight Strikes Again? I really want that variant edition.
